SHARONE HALEVY

founder/acting teacher

Sharone is a freelance director, painter,  and acting coach  from NYC.

 

She has worked all over New York in it's downtown scene; from Chekhov to developing new works. She has worked for companies like Chrashbox, Distilled Theater Co., INTAR, WAT project, HERE Arts, Truf, NYU: Atlantic Theater Company Conservatory, Exquisite Corpse Company, The York, The Rehearsal Studios in Seattle, Muscial Theater Factory, The NYMF, Fringe, taught shakespeare at an all boys school on the UES and more. She has also assisted at Roundabout Theater Company, The Atlantic Theater Company, The York, Waterwell inc, and The Public Theater. 

She has been coaching and preparing actors for auditions (professional and educational) for the last 10 years in her own private practice. She was also a proud employee of the Drama Bookshop for seven years, helping bring individual attention to actors seaking audition and showcase materials. 

Sharone has trained in various programs including the Maggie Flanigan Studio, as well as the Atlantic Theater Company's Conservatory.

Matthew Minnicino

history of stories

is a writer, actor, director, teacher, and storyteller. His plays have been performed or developed at NYC theaters including the Pershing Square Signature, HERE Arts, The Cell, IRT Theater, The Flea, and numerous found venues -- as well as in universities in New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, and Georgia. Besides original work, he has professionally adapted Ibsen, Strindberg, Chekhov, Homer, Moliere, and Sophocles. He is a frequent actor, primarily in Shakespeare or classical work. He has taught theatre to elementary, middle, and high school students, mentored undergraduates, and worked with adults in GED and ESL classes in New York. He is a proud teaching artist for the American Shakespeare Center's Young Company in Staunton, Virginia, has been commissioned by Underling Productions, Wandering Bark, Columbia Stages, Bicephaly Pictures, and is a resident playwright for Brooklyn's Exquisite Corpse Company. His articles have been published by The Dramatist and HowlRound. Playwriting MFA: Columbia.

Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor is a Director, Theatre Artist, and Dancer. He has directed for The National Shakespeare Theatre of Brooklyn, The Accademia dell’Arte (Arezzo, Italy), and New Rep Theatre’s SummerStages (Boston). As a performer he has worked with Kairos Dance Theatre (Boston), Roadkill The Show (NYC), Anikaya Dance Theater (Boston/NYC) and Vestel Scencondst (Gotheborg, Sweden). Jonathan is the Artistic Director of In The Water Theatre Company, where he has directed Bacchic, Moving Mouths, and RePlay: Shelter Island. Education: BFA, Theatre Arts from Boston University. Jonathan is currently working with The SITI Company, Anne Bogart as a directing assistant and Conservatory Artist.
